Provider Evidence Standards
Useful evidence supports a specific claim about the proposed reward card service. It identifies who supplied it, what it covers and which conditions remain unresolved.
Match the material to the claim
Not every attachment establishes the same thing. Use the following distinctions when reviewing a Shopify proposal.
| Material | What it can establish | What it does not establish alone |
|---|---|---|
| Overview brochure | The described service concept | A commitment to your exact program |
| Recipient walkthrough | The experience demonstrated | All production responsibilities and terms |
| Program documents | The stated conditions and roles | Capabilities outside their scope |
| Commercial proposal | Quoted scope and assumptions | Unquoted services or future changes |
| Assurance material | Findings within its stated scope | Universal compliance across every service |
Keep an evidence register
For each material requirement, record the claim, source, date, scope, reviewer and unresolved question. Request clarification when the material refers to a different entity or service. Do not treat missing evidence as a confirmed capability.
Use the appropriate channel
Provider diligence can involve confidential materials. Request and review those through an agreed private channel; an initial public contact email needs only the program question and non-sensitive business context.
